Alan R. Levy

        Executive Producer - Creative Director

 

Since 1979, Emmy and Telly Award winning Executive Producer Alan R. Levy has been

helping non-profit organizations, corporations and television networks to entertain,

motivate, educate and market products and ideas. In the not-for-profit arena,

Alan's emotionally moving and targeted films have helped organizations with missions

that matter raise millions of dollars in charitable contributions. Organizations that have

tapped his "storytelling from the heart" approach include: JAFCO, Chabad, The Shul

of Bal Harbour, Jewish Family Services, Jewish Community Centers, Boca Raton Regional

Hospital, and Boy scouts of America.

 

His creative eye and writing style have been seen on NBC, Fox Business and PBS and

has worked for companies such as Radisson Corporation, Aetna, Ryder, Fuji International,

Caesars World, National Healing Corporation, Mount Sinai Medical Center and Perry Ellis

International.

 

As a former director with the daily PBS program Nightly Business Report, he is equally at home shooting film or video, working in live multi camera television or single camera documentaries. His diverse career has seen him create television commercials, entertainment specials, documentaries, educational films, marketing videos, public affairs television and infomercials. Alan has worked with celebrity talent such as Leonard Nimoy, Jerry Lewis, General Alexander Haig, Casper Weinberger, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, Julio Iglesias, Alan Thicke, The Bee Gees, George Segal, Mariette Hartley, Edward James Olmos, Diedre Hall, Wolfman Jack, Martin Bookspan, Liza Minelli, Gregory Hines and Dave Mason.

 

He has produced and directed throughout the United States, and throughout Europe as well. Including producing and directing a business and technology special hosted by former Secretary of Defense, Casper Weinberger, for Hewlett Packard. The program was recorded live on tape from H.P.’s European Headquarters in Geneva Switzerland. It featured a live audience, guests at H.P. and guests via satellite from Boston and San Francisco.

 

Alan’s ability to work with all kinds of people, including kids, and under all sorts of conditions has helped him and his clients to receive positive results along with critical acclaim. He has been privileged to have received six Emmy Awards, fifty-two Telly Awards, two Hermes Creative Awards and a few others along the way, including an award from the International Film and Television Festivals of New York.

 

Alan has published numerous articles concerning the entertainment industry, hosted professional seminars and remains an active member in several industry groups. He has been a guest professor at Florida International University and Markee Magazine has profiled Alan. BTW: Alan, (Abraham) has also received ‘smicha’ and is an orthodox rabbi, as well as an Eagle Scout and Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 36.
